LifeSciences@Work

LifeSciences@Work (LS@W) is the Dutch accelerator for high potential startup initiatives in life sciences. Academics with entrepreneurial aspirations in genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, bioinformatics, drug development, medical devices, diagnostics, and eHealth are invited to participate.

Working with us means: you start a successful company that will make a difference.

We help researchers - to transform breakthrough research and groundbreaking inventions into clear startup business cases; - to strengthen their existing business case; - to prepare their startup for market fit and growth; - to obtain funding, partners and market introductions; and to introduce aspiring life sciences entrepreneurs to valuable communities including venture capitalists, industry experts, seasoned entrepreneurs, LS@W alumni.

Only the best ideas based on excellent science, with high growth potential, large commercial and societal benefits, and an international scope will be selected by LS@W. After admittance, you can profit by participating in the Venture Challenge, Expert Classes and Value Centre. These three stages of the accelerator programme are developed to help scientists build their own business.
